My name is Vera Smirnova. I am currently pursuing Master of Science in Chemical Engineering at Columbia University. I am interested in summer internships where I can apply my engineering and quantitative background to solve complex technology problems.
I am able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a steep learning curve. I am also really good at problem solving, and I think about the world via algorithms. I try to find patterns that help me to develop unique way of approaching situations. This allows me to solve complex problems. Technology supports and takes services provided to the people to new levels. I am really eager to contribute to developing new solutions for existing and future problems of a constantly changing world of technology, finance and engineering.
